Individual Biblical Counseling for Women
Counseling sessions at Haven give you a safe place to be known, share your struggles honestly, and receive wisdom and hope from God’s Word. Throughout counseling, we will take time to understand your situation according to Scripture and rest in the promises God has made to you. Together, we will also identify important steps you can take that lead to lasting change as you deepen your fellowship with the Lord and grow in Christlike love for others.
Sessions are available for adult women in-person (Lakeland, Florida) and virtually. Counseling is available in both 50-minute and 90-minute sessions. When starting out, we will meet either weekly or every other week, depending on your needs and counseling goals.

Biblical Counseling Intensives
Sometimes, you need more time than a typical 50-minute session to thoughtfully explore a particular struggle, or your schedule simply does not easily allow for regular weekly appointments. Haven offers biblical counseling intensives designed to give unrushed time to slow down, process, and engage deeply with the Lord and His Word.
Intensives are extended sessions held over one or two days. Most intensives include 3-4 hours per day. Before your intensive, we will meet for a 90-minute intake session to clarify your goals and tailor the intensive to your needs. After the intensive, you will also receive a personalized written summary and growth plan to help you to continue reflecting on what we discussed and apply it in the weeks ahead.
While many struggles can benefit from a biblical counseling intensive, I have given particular attention to developing intensives for women who are experiencing distress during pregnancy or the postpartum season, including depression, anxiety, and OCD.

Church Consultation and Collaboration
Pastors and ministry leaders are often called to walk with women in complex situations. Haven offers consultation specifically for women’s issues to support your church’s care.
Consultation at Haven gives us time to think together through challenging counseling situations, consider wise next steps, or develop thoughtful care plans for the women in your congregation that are both grounded in Scripture and suitable to your church’s resources and context.
